To deliver our software, manage your license, and understand our customer base, we collect the following types of data:

Identity and Contact Data: Name and email address.
Location Data: Country/region, provided voluntarily or as part of the checkout or free trial signup process. This is used for tax calculation, regional insights, and understanding where our customers are located.
Referral Data: If you sign up for a free trial, we may ask how you heard about us. This is optional and used solely to understand which marketing channels are effective.
Financial Data: We do not store your credit card details. All payment processing is handled securely by our payment gateway (Stripe).
Hardware Fingerprint Data: When you activate the Soul Theory software, our licensing engine generates a unique cryptographic hash based on your operating system and hardware components (e.g., CPU, Motherboard). This "Hardware Fingerprint" contains no personally identifiable files from your computer; it is solely used to lock your license key to your specific machine.
Technical Data: IP addresses, browser types, and usage data automatically collected by our website host (Wix) for analytics and security.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data strictly to:

Process your payment and deliver your license key.
Authenticate and validate your software access via our licensing servers.
Provide customer support and technical troubleshooting.
Send you critical updates regarding the software or your license.
Understand our customer demographics and the effectiveness of our marketing efforts, using Country and Referral Data, so we can improve our product and better reach people who may benefit from it.

3. Third-Party Data Processors

We do not sell your personal data. We share your data only with trusted third-party services required to operate our business:

Wix: Hosts our website, online store platform, and manages free trial signups.
Stripe: Securely processes all financial transactions.
Keygen.sh: Manages our software license generation, hardware fingerprinting, and piracy prevention.
Brevo: Delivers automated transactional emails, including your purchase receipt and license key.
Microsoft (Excel Online): Used internally to record and manage customer and trial signup information, including Name, Email, Country, and Referral Data.

4. International Data Transfers

Because we utilize global infrastructure providers (Wix, Stripe, Keygen.sh, Microsoft), your data may be transferred, stored, and processed on servers located outside of Australia (such as in the United States or the European Union). By purchasing our product or signing up for a free trial, you consent to this international transfer of data for the purpose of fulfilling our contract with you.

5. Your Data Rights

Depending on your location (such as under the GDPR or the Australian Privacy Principles), you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. To exercise these rights, please contact us at support@soultheory.com.au.

Please note that because your license key is directly tied to your account record, requesting the deletion of your personal data will permanently and irreversibly delete your software license key as well, resulting in the loss of access to the product. This deletion does not entitle you to a refund.
